Karnataka reports 1,405 Covid cases, 26 deaths reported in last 24 hours

Bengaluru, Feb 15: Karnataka on Tuesday February 15 registered 1,405 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 26,832. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 765.

As many as 26 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Tuesday, the death toll in the state has risen to 39,691.

The state recorded 5,762 discharges from hospitals on Tuesday, taking the total discharges to 38,63,085.

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,29,642 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 1.91% while the case fatality rate for the day is 1.85 %.

As many as 9,87,41,327 people have received vaccination so far.

    Aleast 5 people should be there in marriage function, political rally, religious function and get together party to monitor whether they are following covid rules strictly or not.If not followed, police should cancel the function or event and strict FIR should be registered against organizers.
