MLA Krishna Hegde Saves Woman from Molesters

Mumbai, Dec 31: MLAs Krishna S Hegde from Vile Parle and Aslam Shaikh from Malad constituencies rescued a woman from the suspected molesters, when they were returning from New Delhi after attending the AICC session, at the deserted stretch of Aarey Milk Colony Road, Goregaon (East) here, recently.
Both MLAs were travelling in a car with police escort in order to attend the wedding of former minister Anees Ahmed’s daughter in Hotel Royal Palms, when Krishna Hegde noticed a woman being dragged by some youth out of the auto rickshaw she was travelling by.
Krishna Hegde stopped his car and along with others rushed to rescue the woman. On seeing the police escort and others, the suspected molesters fled in their bikes.
Meanwhile, Krishna Hegde assuring the woman of her safety, followed her auto rickshaw up to Western Express Highway to ensure her safety.
