Best thing is this junction has to be removed and little front near robosoft u turn should be provided with signal for crossing. Then we can minimize the accident.

Any outrage for these lives lost? Obviously none, because the people in power are responsible for these deaths.

This is nothing but murder. Our elected representatives (especially our MP) are doing nothing about this junction which is unscientific. So many lives are already lost. This incident will be just another statistic. Prayers for the departed souls.

The old govt was voted out bcoz these promised a lot. Its been eight years. Not enough to rectify the problem? Stop blindly supporting incompetent and self centred representatives just to suit your agenda. Learn to call a spade a spade

This is the effect of foreign brand used by the Kerala state bus. Problem is we do have seprate lane for heavy vehicles on highway. The roads are good for vehicle to speed than in Kerala.

Santhekatte is the prone accidental Zone. As long as there is a bakery runned by influential goons on the road, next to rickshaw stand, which was supposed to go for road widening these lifes will go on and on on their account, No matter one make over bridge or under pass these deaths will not stop, No one is talking about them. The Engineer and authorities who made road in Santhekatte also should held responsible for these deaths.

I totally agree with you. Politicians have no value for the life of general public. There will be some action or reaction, if there is chance to get some votes. There should be underpass in Santhekatte and Katapadi junction.

The Santhekatte junction is so dangerous one cannot walk safely. Traffic bursts from all sides. Please streamline the traffic and make arrangements for safe pedestrians crossing.

Remove public busses from govt vehicle tag....why should they be considered as govt vehicle when they are doing business? The drivers of these buses think they are govt employees and do not care for co vehicles on road...

A very unfortunate incident. My condolences to the family. Santhekatte junction is the worst because there is no control of the traffic there. Poor planning of the government is why there are numerous accidents in this junction.

There is no law and order in Udupi and Mangalore city. Someone died of reckless driving of a bus driver and the dead is gone.. that's it.. No strict action was taken. I have witnessed a few buses driving rashly and the police who are on traffic duty who just doesn't care.. What is the use of such police and traffic inspectors... The buses, tippers, bulldozer drivers drive like they are in the sky without traffic. No strict law at all.. once the bus owners bribe the police, and they will keep quiet... No Rules, nothing
