Mumbai, Jan 14: Metro-based Seva Bharati will organize Nrutya Bharati, an extravaganza of Indian classic dances at Mahakavi Kalidas Nrutya Mandir, P K Road, Mulund (West) here from 9.30 am to 7.00 pm on Sunday January 16.
The carnival will be held as a part of silver jubilee celebrations of Seva Bharati. Duggappa A Shetty, former corporate director of Milton Limited will inaugurate. The silver jubilee celebrations committee honorary president B Vivek Shetty will preside.

Nrutya Bharati Lifetime Achievement award will be presented to renowned Nrutya Bharatanatyam Guru Jayalaxmi Alva, Katakkali Guru Gopinath Nair, Bharatanatyam Guru Deepak Majumdar, Katakalli Guru Asha Joglekar and Ganesh Hiralal Hasal during the programme, informed Seva Bharati honorary chief secretary Bhaskar A Shetty.
Eminent Nrutya Guru Gayatri Subramanyan will stage a Bharatanatyam show, while Guru Radha Mohan will stage a Kuchipudi dance, Guru Jayashree Nair will stage Mohiniyatam, Guru Jayasri Rajagopalan will stage a Bharatanatyam show, Guru Debi Basu will stage a Odissi show, Guru Pavitra Bhat will stage a Bharatanatyam show, Guru Ranjana Phadke will stage a Katak show, Guru Sandhya Keshav Rao and Shailaja Madhusudhan will stage a Bharatanatyam show, informed Seva Bharati honorary treasurer chartered accountant Sadashiv B Shetty.
Nrutya Bharati programme organizing committee president Y V Madhusudan Rao and Award committee president Dharmapal U Devadiga urged the Indian classical dance enthusiasts to attend the programme.
