Special show of 'The Kashmir Files' for Karnataka lawmakers

Bengaluru, Mar 14 (IANS): Karnataka Speaker Vishveshwara Hegde Kageri has arranged a special show of 'The Kashmir Files' movie for the ministers and legislators in the state.

Speaker Kageri announced in the House on Monday that the special show has been organised on Tuesday (March 15) at the Mantri Mall at 6.45 p.m. in Bengaluru.

The special screening has been arranged from the secretariat of the Legislative Assembly. Speaker Kageri has congratulated Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai for making the movie tax free.

Bommai who watched the movie in the multiplex in Bengaluru on Sunday showered praises on the film makers.

"Kudos to Vivek Agnihotri for 'The Kashmir Files', a blood-curdling, poignant and honest narrative of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from their home land. To lend our support to the movie and encourage our people to watch it, we will make the movie tax-free in Karnataka," he announced.

After watching the movie, the Chief Minister said, "the movie shows the magnitude of attacks on the Kashmiri Pandits. Many have lost their lives at the hands of terrorists. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has abrogated Article 370 for the same reason. I thank PM Modi for the same and I urge every Indian to watch this movie," he said.

'The Kashmir Files' movie has received warm response from the audiences in the state like all over the country. It remains to be seen how Congress legislators respond to the decision of the Speaker to host a special screening of the movie.

    If things continue like this and we don't wake up and understand the situaion, another 10 years it will be Kerala Files, 15 years Bengal files, 20 years Tamilnadu files, Ullal files, Hyderabad files etc etc etc after 15 years may be Karnataka files and then India files. Some so called learned ones who are actually minorities ( in India , not world) are fence sitters now having opinion & doubting on the majoritarian of the country based on some random events , by the time they will realize that their time will also come, it will be too late as no-one will be there to save them then from the onslaught on the doomsday. That day they will realize how safe this country was when the Demographic was 50 years back.

    For 5000 years of Indian history of Hindus no harm has come to them, in fact thier numbers have increased tremendously even under foreign invaders and thier rule. Now what are you shedding crocodile tears and feeling sorry for yourself and manufacturing reasons and excuses to create rift in society and religions?. Don’t try to find stones in buttermilk. You are overwhelming majority in india and minorities are living in fear.

    Govt should explain how Kashmiri Hindus have benefitted 3 years since abrogation of article 370?. Why did BJP had alliance with PDP to benefit Kashmiri Hindus?. Why elections are still not held in Kashmir for the benefit Hindus?. Why no other political parties, free journalists and human right organisation are not allowed to enter Kashmir?.     Opening shot of Gujarat massacre will be shots the burning of Karsevaks . Next will be the plot. climax will be the Riots because of this whole plot. People coming out of the theaters will then say, if the coaches were not burnt, the riots would not have happened. Moral of the story, don't instigate then cry victim.

    Propaganda movie and mouth peace of Sangh made by Sanghi ideology follower with his mix masala with no true facts for many incident shown to emotionally fool public and create the hatred atmosphere. This is the best opportunity what Sangh and its political party BJP got to garner more sympathy towards public, which many of them believe it as a true event by watching movie.
