Mangaluru: ACB conducts raids on KPTCL AEE Dayasundar, 17 others

Mangaluru, Mar 16: Teams of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), in an early morning operation on Wednesday March 16, raided a number of officials all over the state. Assistant executive engineer (AEE) of Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd (KPTCL), Dayasundar Raju based in Mangaluru happens to be one of the targetted officials.

It is learnt that the ACB conducted raids at 75 spots simultaneously. A total of 300 officials led by a hundred officers are involved with these raids and currently search operations are on.

The 18 officials who have been raided are Jnanendra Kumar, additional commissioner for transport, Bengaluru, Rakesh Kumar from Bangalore Development Authority (town planning), Ramesh Kanakatti, range forest officer (social forestry, Yadagiri), Basavaraj Shekhar Reddy Patil, executive engineer Koujalagi, Gokak, Basavakumar S Annigeri, Shirastedar, DC office Gadag, Gopinath Sa N Malagi, project manager (Nirmiti Kendra Vijayapura), B K Shivakumar, additional detector (industries and commerce) Bengaluru, Shivanand P Sharanappa Khedagi, range forest officer, Badami, Manjunath, assistant commissioner, Ramanagara, Srinivas, general manager, social welfare department, Maheshwarappa, district environment officer Davanagere, Krishnan, assistant engineer, APMC Haveri, Chaluvaraj, excise inspector, Gundlupet taluk, Girish, assistant engineer (national highway), Balakrishna H N, police inspector, Vijayanagara station Mysuru, Gavirangappa, assistant executive engineer, PWD Chikkamagaluru, Ashok Reddy Patil, assistant executive engineer, Krishna Bhgya Jal Nigam Ltd, Deodurg and Dayasundar Raju, KPTCL, Dakshina Kannada.

    Almostlyl Government officers as well as clerks are corrupt. My question is when these officers keep this much currency, gold and valuables at home, why their wife is not asking with them from where you get this when you have fixed salary? Because those wife are enjoying with the items, they may force to take bribe.

    These people get education in discounts (Reservation Mafia) Again they get good government jobs (Reservation/Quota Mafia) And once they come into power (They do all kind of Mafia) Reservation system should be abolished from INDIA as soon as possible else people will never learn.
