Bangalore, Jan 21: Karnataka Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa, is angry at the comment, ‘Ulta Chor Kotwal Ko Dante’, made by the state Governor, H R Bhardwaj,  in the sidelines of a function here on Thursday January 20. He has shot a letter to the Governor to register his protest against this unsolicited comment.

In the letter, he said that the statements being made by the Governor against himself and his cabinet colleague, R Ashok, have been influenced by prejudice, and that they are equivalent to insulting the entire state cabinet and the voters of the state. He drew the attention of the Governor, that while endorsing a copy of the cabinet decision, he had written a detailed letter to the latter. He stressed that the Governor was not right, even after these developments, in issuing statements against himself and others.

Yeddyyurappa said that the remark about a cabinet decision, comparing the cabinet and the Chief Minister to a thief, is an insult to the concerned. “The Governor should always keep processes behind his decisions a secret. But you are not confining yourself to this tradition. You are treading in the political path you were earlier identified with, and creating embarrassing situations for the government,” he claimed.
