Bantwal, Mar 19: “More than Rs 1,000 crore are spent for the development of Bantwal during the last four years. Rs 450 crore worth projects will be set in motion during this month,” said Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik Ulipadiguthu.
He laid the foundation for a road at Rs 2.20 crore from Kuttikala to Kalleri and Rs 6.67 crore from Guthige to Rai Muddaje on Saturday, March 19. The work will be completed within the next four months, he said.
He said that he responded to the immediate demands of the people. The remaining demands will be met in stages, he said.
District panchayat member Tungappa Bangera said that the quality of people thanking for the works by the MLA is an example for others.
