Mangaluru, Mar 20: A man was found dead with his face smashed in Mulki bus stand on Sunday, March 20 morning.
The deceased has been identified as Harish Salian (37), a construction worker from Mundkur in Karkala.
The Mulki police found the body in the morning and preliminary investigations show that his face might have been mauled with a rock.
The police said that the victim had come last night to Bappanadu to visit a temple. A wallet, and mobile phone have been recovered from the body.
An FIR has been registered with the Mulki police station and further investigations are on.
