Belagavi: Shocker in the offing - KMF hints at milk price rise soon

Daijiworld Media Network – Belagavi (MS)

Belagavi, Mar 20: The consumers who are already under financial distress due to the increase in fuel and edible oil prices, will be getting one more shock soon. There is every chance that the price of Nandini milk will rise in the near future.

Giving this information, Balachandra Jarkiholi, president of Karnataka Milk Federation said, “Milk federations of 14 districts are exerting pressure on us to increase the price of milk. We need to do it invariably. We will give the hiked amount to the farmers themselves."

“We have conveyed the matter to chief minister Bommai and he has said that a decision will be taken after looking into its pros and cons."

“During summer, the yield of milk from cows is less. So if the price is increased it will benefit the farmers. In Belagavi, the price of cow milk was Rs 23 per liter. We have increased it to Rs 25. Similarly, the price of buffalo milk was Rs 36 per liter and it has been increased by Rs 38.

“Our milk price is the cheapest in the whole of India. If the price is increased in such a manner that it will not burden the consumers, then it will be beneficial to both farmers and consumers. Let us see what decision CM Bommai takes.”

Prices going North, Quality going South. This govt. is incapable of providing effective forward looking governance, and financial stability. Only focus is on jumlas, cow and hijab politics, communalizing and polarizing , harassing minorities, oppressive and regressive policies, attention diversion tactics, and vot bank politics. Its time tgat people rise above petty politics and start looking at alternative parties who work for the people and country.

Why do media who themselves cant do without salary hike every year term rise in milk prices & mitigation of production cost of milk farmers as shocking? When prices of raw materials rise it is natural for milk prices to rise. Even increase in salary of farm labourers & fertilizer year after year will naturally push raw material cost such as that of corn upwards. But we want our salaries to go upwards year after year & prices & incomes of all others to remain stagnant.

It always start with Wars and pandemics ? Croatian MEP Mislav Kolakušić Drops Truth Bombs, Explaining the Real Reason for Rising Gas Prices , in EU parliament... "Energy prices rarely and almost never correspond to their production price... They mostly depend on geopolitics and wars... Just as false and true pandemics bring huge profits to the pharmaceutical industry, wars bring huge profits to the energy industry. So it will be today and so it will be forever because huge profits are the real purpose of wars."
