Kasargod: Quarrel between siblings ends in Thomas D'Souza’s murder

Kasargod, Mar 22: In a gory incident which happened at Sheni Uppalike near Perla in the district on the night of Monday March 21, a quarrel which broke out between two brothers culminated in the murder of one among them.

Thomas D'Souza (45), a resident of Uppalige, was killed in the fight. His brother, Rajesh D'Souza (37), reportedly committed this murder. The incident happened at about 10 pm on Monday.

A fight started between the two. Wilfred, a relative of Thomas, who tried to intervene and stop the fight, was injured.

After the fight aggravated, Rajesh in a fit of anger, stabbed Thomas. After the family members raised an alarm, people from the neighbourhood rushed to the spot and admitted Thomas, who was lying in a pool of blood, into the Kasargod hospital. However, his life could not be saved.

Rajesh in the meantime, surrendered before the police personnel of Badiyadka police station. The police are interrogating him and also collecting more information. Injured Wilfred stands admitted into the Pariyaram Medical College Hospital.

    Chetan mangalore .is it so important to you?As the dreadly act is done ,the one who is dead .Sad but the quarrel between the brothers has ended in murder .How sad ,quarrel had to end sad ,As a grown up men ,could settle it without sad incident .Pray atleast for the dead one .Now younger one has ruined his life .May the soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathy the family.

    Yes really sad... when they are small they play together, no greed, no hatred.. parents shower their love tho them while they are young.. when they grow they start fighting for material things.. and those who were once loving each other, or playing and sharing their toys and eatables kill each other... what a sad world
