Kadaba: Minor pickpockets steal man’s wallet; locals chase, catch culprits

Kadaba, Apr 1: In an incident that occurred at Kevala on Pijakala road, on Thursday March 31, two boys who snatched the wallet from a person who was speaking to his friend standing by the side of the road, were caught by alert locals, when they tried to escape and handed over to the police.

It is learnt that the accused boys are residents of Kunthoor vicinity. A local, who had arrived to Kevala on auto rickshaw, was speaking to his friend by halting the auto rickshaw. Two boys who were walking on the same road, snatched the wallet from the person and tried to run. Locals chased the boys, caught them and handed over to the police.

Police, who took custody of the minors, called their parents, warned them and sent them away.

    First time in 75 years - one can imagine living condition of poor people where as PM is changing Rs.2.5 lacks Suite and jacket every now and then. 2 separate Luxury Flights brought for PM and President @ cost of 450 crores each!

    Good that they are caught early in their life... They need counselling and encouragement to do good things in life... Lot of the juvenile behavior is dependent on parental care and upbringing... There will be external influence by close friends... Let us only hope and pray that they will not become habitual thieves...

    You approve stealing as you relate to inflation and unemployment. In our district, it is hard to get workers for jobs like restaurants, agriculture etc as less educated people have false prestige. They are ready to do such jobs outside state like in Mumbai but not at native.For jobs like cleaning and scavenging we are dependent on North Karnataka people and Bengalis. Masons are also from North as they are ready to work extended hours. Please go to ground level and understand.I do not accept that there is any unemployment in my district. It is only attitude problem and boys nowadays want easy money without sweating.
