Kundapur, Apr 15: Pramod Mutalik, chief of Sri Rama Sene arrived at Gangolli in the taluk Thursday April 14 night, despite the ban placed on his entry by the district administration.
The district administration had placed prohibition on the entry of Pramod Mutalik from entering the district on Wednesday April 13. Mutalik will take part in the public Satyanarayana Pooja at Veereshwara temple at Gangolli and the religious programme that will be held on the evening of April 15.
Mutalik visited the temple as soon as he arrived and discussed the itinerary with the leaders of Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV). Speaking on the occasion, Mutalik said, “It is really painful that BJP government, which has gained power in the name of Hindutva, is placing ban on me to fight for Hindutva. Where should I speak about Hindutva if not in India?”
Meanwhile, various pro-Hindu organizations have expressed rage against the district administration on its decision of prohibiting Mutalik from entering the district. Even the people representatives of the district did not give a damn to the telephonic calls of HJV leaders.
Yashwant Gangolli, chief secretary of HJV, Gangolli said that they will give suitable answer to BJP in the next assembly elections.
