Three new ESI clinics in DK, one in Udupi - Labour minister Shivaram Hebbar

Bengaluru, Apr 24: New ESI clinics will start functioning at Bantwal, Ujire and Ganjimutt of Dakshina Kannada district and Padubidri in the district of Udupi.

Sharing this information, labour minister Shivaram Hebbar said that 19 new clinics will open in Karnataka. They will come up in Chincholli of Kalaburagi, Kolar and Narasapura of Kolar district, Arasikere in Hassan, Sandoor in Ballari, Kanakapura and Ramanagara in Bengaluru Rural, Naubad in Bidar, Yadagiri, Hattaragi in Belagavi, Ranebennur in Haveri, Mudhola in Bagalkot, Gauribidanoor in Chikkaballapur, Vasantanarasapura in Tumkur and Sirsi and Kumta in Uttara Kannada district.

In addition, the bed capacity of ESI hospitals in Hubballi and Davanagere will be increased from 50 to 100, he added.
