Sapna Noronha Pays Fitting Tribute to Veteran Artist with 'Blue Waves'

Mangalore, Feb 11: As a tribute to veteran Dakshina Kannada artist B G Mohammed, Prasad Art Gallery hosted ‘Blue Waves,’an art exhibition by Sapna Noronha on Friday February 11 at 4.30 pm.
At the formal inaugural function held at the Gallery, Dr Narendra Kamath, skin specialist, Sanath Kumar Shetty, architect, SKS group partner, S S Nayak, chartered accountant and Shabbir Ali, artist and son of B G Mohammed were the guests.
Shabbir Ali inaugurated the exhibition by painting on the theme ‘Nature’ in just five minutes.
Dinesh Holla welcomed the gathering. Sapna Noronha delivered the vote of thanks. Koti Prasad Alva and Ganesh Somayaji were among those present. The students and family of the late B G Mohammed were also present.
The exhibition is open for public viewing till Tuesday February 15. Elegant art on themes like harvest, beach, Mangalore Dasara, feet of Bahubali, beach, tiger dance, ‘Bhootha Kola’, fishing, women in fields, and Kambala are on display.
