Sanjay, Ajay 'Ready' to Meet Salman in Bangkok

By Subhash K. Jha

Mumbai, Feb 12 (IANS): A get-together bringing together Bollywood A-listers Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan is being planned in Bangkok -- thanks to simultaneous shoots of director Anees Bazmi's "Ready" and David Dhawan's "Rascal".

Anees Bazmi and David Dhawan have more in common right now than meets the eye. Considered comic maestros, they both are in Bangkok shooting almost next to each other.

Under normal circumstances, the stars from the two units would be seen hobnobbing with one another, especially since Devgn-Dutt-Dhawan bond magnificently with Salman. But blame it on the mutually incompatible schedules, the 'Rascal' team is not able to spend time with the 'Ready' team.

With David Dhawan helming Sanjay Dutt's first production 'Rascal' and Anees Bazmi determined to wrap up 'Ready', the pace is naturally frantic. Repeated attempts to party together have been thwarted.

But Anees is about to change that. He's planning a big get-together for the two units this week.

"It's really strange. We all love one another in the two units... but we aren't able to spend time together here in Bangkok. We're doing night shoots. We haven't had a moment to breath. I'm now planning a dinner for both the units. We have to meet... and I've to make it happen. We hardly get to meet in Mumbai. Chalo... Bangkok hi sahi," says Anees.
