Air India Express adds Additional Flight from Abu Dhabi to Mangalore
Abu Dhabi, Feb 13th, 2011 (WAM) : Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) and Air India Express announced today the addition of two new flights for the airline from Abu Dhabi International Airport, starting tomorrow.
Air India Express will add one weekly flight to its Mangalore - Abu Dhabi route and another weekly flight to the Amritsar - Abu Dhabi route. This frequency increase will bring the total flights of Air India Express at Abu Dhabi International Airport to 32 weekly flights servicing 7 destinations in India.
The decision to increase frequency came as a response to the growing demand that the market is witnessing for more flights to and from the Indian Subcontinent. During 2010, passenger traffic on the Indian market recorded an increase of 18 per cent over 2009.

Air India Express will be operating a state-of the-art B737 aircraft departing from Abu Dhabi to Mangalore every Monday at 4:45 pm local time to arrive to Mangalore Airport at 9:50 pm local time, and for Amritsar every Tuesday departing from Abu Dhabi at 17:45 local time to arrive to Amritsar Airport at 23:15 local time. The aircraft will offer both business and economy class services.
