Mangaluru, May 26: In an incident that occurred near PVS Circle in the city on Wednesday May 25 afternoon, a car was partially burnt as fire erupted inside the engine while it was running.

The driver of the car immediately stopped the vehicle as he noticed the smoke emanating.

It is always important to keep a glass and seat belt breaker tool in the car. If the circuit that controls central locking burns, doors wont open. So is the case with seat belts which can get stuck if the plastics melt. The tool isnt costly and a life saver.
