London, March 2 (IANS) Singer Lady Gaga, who is known for her bizarre dressing sense, is shown producing alien life forms in scenes from her new video for her comeback single "Born this way".
The seven-minute promo to the song features Gaga simulating labour on the planet G.O.A.T., after which slimy creatures emerge from between her legs, reports thesun.co.uk.
In other patches of the promo, Gaga does a jig with both male and female dancers, sprays bullets wildly and appears with an extra eye on her chin.
She also delivers a two-and-a-half-minute monologue, which she calls "The Manifesto Of Mother Monster".
"On G.O.A.T., a government-owned alien territory in space, a birth of magnificent and magical proportions took place. But on that same day as the eternal hovered in the multiverse, another more terrifying birth took place - the birth of evil. And as she herself split into two, rotating in agony between two ultimate forces, the pendulum of choice began its dance.
"It seems easy, you imagine, to gravitate instantly and unwaveringly towards good. But she wondered, 'How can I protect something so perfect without evil?'"
Following this, the track begins with Gaga dancing around in skimpy lingerie. There are other startling scenes too - she sports a transparent plastic all-in-one outfit with her modesty covered by just a series of black strips, while in another scene she is surrounded by melted effigies of her own head.
"Born this way" is from the singer's second album, scheduled for release in May.
