Bengaluru, Jun 2: Karnataka on Thursday, June 2 registered 297 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state at 2,204. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally 276.
Zero deaths reported to coronavirus in the state on Thursday, the death toll in the state has risen to 40,065.
The state recorded 187 discharges from hospitals on Thursday, taking the total discharges to 39,10,266.
So far, Karnataka has seen 39,52,577 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 1.45% while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.00%.
As many as 10,90,72,136 people have received vaccination so far.
