Mathrabhoomi Chairman K D Shetty Meets John D’Silva, Veteran of Co-op Movement

Mumbai, Mar 16: K D Shetty, chairman of metro-based Mathrabhoomi Co-operative Credit Society Limited that is promoted by Bunts Sangh and the Society’s deputy chairman Ratnakar Shetty Mundkoor met veteran of co-operative movement John D’Silva at the latter’s office located at Dadar (West) here on Tuesday March 15.



The duo discussed the present scenario of co-operative sector in the country with the veteran during their meeting. After the discussions with John D’Silva, K D Shetty expressed his hope of converting Mathrabhoomi Co-operative Society Limited into a Co-operative Bank under the leadership of Bunts Sangh president Aikala Harish Shetty.

    Mr K.D. Shetty is doing a commendable job, handling the Matrubhoomi Co-op credit society popularly known amongst the Bunts community as Matrubhoomi. We sincerely hope he succeeds in getting the much awaited Banking Licences for Matrubhoomi
