Car-bicycle collision: Bantwal youth loses life in Bengaluru

Bantwal, Jun 26: A youth, native of taluk, lost his life in Bengaluru, as the bicycle he was riding was hit in the rear by a car.

Shivaprasad (33), a resident of Kamaje in the taluk is the victim of this accident. He was working as an AC technician in the city. He was riding bicycle to his office from his quarters, which is barely at a distance of 250 meters. A car driven by a woman hit his bicycle. Shivaprasad fell on the divider and died.

Shivaprasad was working in Bengaluru for many years. He got job here five years ago. His family which was originally residing in Rayi had shifted to Kamaje 10 years ago.

Shivaprasad got married just five months ago. His final rites were held at Bantwal on Saturday June 25.
