Kasargod, Jun 27: A gang of youths abducted a gulf employee, who had returned to native place on June 25, killed him and sent his body to a hospital in an ambulance. This incident occurred on Sunday June 26 evening at Bandyod.
Aboobacker Siddique (32), a resident of Sitangoli Mugu, is the victim of this case. According to preliminary reports gathered by the police, Aboobacker was killed over some financial dispute.
Aboobacker had returned from gulf on Saturday. On the afternoon of Sunday, two people including a resident of Paivalike, kidnapped him in a car. They sent Aboobacker in an ambulance to one of the hospitals at Bandyodu at around 9 pm. Doctors confirmed that Aboobacker was dead on arrival.
Later, the hospital authorities informed the matter to Kumble police. According to the information given by police many injuries are noticed on the mortal remains of deceased Aboobacker. The mortal remains are kept in Kasargod general hospital for post mortem.
The police are on the lookout for the accused.
