Mangaluru: Let all citizens join hands for ‘Green Mulky-Clean Mulky’ - Jeevan K Shetty

Mangaluru, Jul 2: "Our town is our own and we have to prepare for its beautiful environment. Our organization will write a preamble with Mulky Rotary Club, with the mission of making Mulky taluk a green and clean, as it was announced in the year 2019. Let’s join hands with the citizens of Mulky by understanding their responsibility. We can achieve success by joining hands voluntarily and by creating self-awareness. The ultimate intention is to bring revolutionary changes through  ‘Green Mulky –Clean Mulky," said Mulky Jeevan K Shetty, administrative director, Sharada  Inyadesign  India Private Limited.

He was speaking after launching ‘Smart Mulky’ logo, a programme organized by team sharada in association with Rotary Club Mulky on the occasion of silver jubilee celebration, held at Jnanamandira Bappanadu recently.

He further said, "As Mulky is a developing city, the 'green and clean environment’ drive is not against any system, which was voluntarily taken up by the citizens. But rather than it is a campaign to motivate them by recalling what our duty is.  This is must for today’s youth. We have decided on Engineers Day celebration in 2021. We will prepare service minded representatives, local organizations and educational institutions, religious centers, government officials  to create awareness among the people, Rotary Club is the base for this."

District Rotary governor A R Ravindra Bhat Mysuru inaugurated the programme. M Dugganna Navanth, king of Mulky border, unveiled the logo. Shivarama G Amin presided and welcomed the guests.

Mulky Jeevan K Shetty was received by the Rotary Club by recognizing their cooperation and his wholehearted support in renovating the Public toilet of Rotary club, which is placed in Bappanadu Temple premises.

Umanath  Kotian, MLA, Dr Harikrishna Punaroor, trustee, Suryakanth J Suvarna, businessman Mumbai, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, actor,  Tulu film, Manohar  Shetty, managing trustee, Bappanadu temple, Praveen, CEO, Arun Bhandary, assistant governor, Subhash Shetty,  Mulky city panchayat, office bearers of  Rotary silver jubilee celebration committee Ashok Kumar Shetty, Jinaraj C Salian, Likayath Ali, M Narayan, Jovin Prakash D’Souza and others were present.

Ravichandra proposed a vote of thanks.  Y N Salian, Narendra  Kerekadu and Rajapatravo  compered the programme.
