Mangaluru, Jul 5: Inner wheel Surathkal held the installation of their office bearers on silver jubilee at Chawadi banquet hall on July 3.
Dr Asha Jyothi Rai was the chief guest. PDC Dr Seeta Shastri conducted the installation.
Dr Reshma K Rao took over charge from ex-president Shaila Mohan. Sunita Gururaj took over charge as secretary, Vinita Rao as treasurer, Subhada Bhat as SO, Bhramara Achar as editor, Malati Sachidananda as vice president and Harini took over charge as assistant secretary.
Expert gynaecologist of Surthkal Dr Chitra Lekha Sriyan and editor Jayaram Sriyan were felicitated for their contribution to the society.
Dr Asha Jyothi Rai gave a speech on women empowerment and the role of women on the path of progress. Swarnalatha rendered a vote of thanks.
