Dawood Threat to CBI Over 2G Probe?

Mumbai, Mar 23 (TOI): According to Times Now, sources in the Central Bureau of Investigation have revealed that underworld crime boss Dawood Ibrahim's gang D-Company is planning to target the CBI headquarters in an attempt to destroy all documents relating to the ongoing probe into the 2G spectrum scam. Mumbai based CBI officials have passed on this information to the investigators handling the case.

The CBI has meanwhile strengthened security measures at the CBI headquarters in Delhi where the 2G papers are being housed. They investigative agency has also informed the MHA and NIA of the impending threat to the case.

According to sources about 3 weeks ago the the CBI was informed that Dawood Ibrahim's gang might target the agency's headquarters in Delhi to destroy the 2G scam documents.

An anonymous source at the CBI revealed that information was passed on to officials at the CBI's Mumbai branch a few days ago that D Company is planning to target the CBI headquarters in an attempt to destroy all 2G scam related information gathered so far by the agency.

Following the tip odd an alert was issued to all the agency's branches and the investigation team was asked to be cautious.

Intelligence agencies suspect Swan Telecom promoter and a main accused in the 2G scam case, Shahid Balwa to have links to Dawood Ibrahim's gang.

Balwa was arrested by the CBI in connection to the 2G scam on February 8 and is currently in judicial custody.

    Dawood is listed as terrorist by USA, All the intelligence knows where he is staying, US has the capability to strike any parts od the world thru drones, Then why not light him up ? The man who had killed inncocent people and children in Mumbai blast is happily sitting in Pakistan safe havens and attending his daughters weddings.....Strange world !

    They are going to hire private security guards or bouncers to protect them?? what a joke. Congress political party full of jokers with the mountainload of money at the disposal of 2G looters in Chennai and Delhi it is not impossible to erase the evidences with the connivance of powerful politicians.When Swamy alleged Dawood's angle some people laughed at him. Now it is Swamy's turn to laugh at them. manmohan as usual will pass the buck at some of his juniors and excuse himself on coalition dharma.

    I am sure now Sharad Pawar and Digvijay Singh will say this is a false rumour and there is no threat to CBI from D Company and Karunanidhi will definitely support them.

    One side the government is showing that they want to catch him and on the otherside with the help of Dawood some official individuals make money..With threat to life and lots of money, who know tomorrow CBI also gets blind.If media also given their share for not to publish NEWS of 2g probes

    Shouldn't Nagesh Maam stand guard at the CBI premises now ? Sonia Gandhi's Swiss Bank Account, not D-Company that is holding all the scam money - we got to prove this - don't we ?

    Are India's Corrupt and Looter Parliamentarian any lesser than Dawood? Didn't A. RAJA ignored National Security to LOOT India under table and Kapil Sibal and so called Honest and Integrity certificate holder PM batted for him? Murder becomes Suicide and Missing Papers and Files from 2G, CWG and Adarsh proves that Dawood's Clones left in India, who's job is only Anti-National, sitting Left and Right with PM. Death Penalty must be imposed to all Corrupt and Anti National Politicians. Pakistan has 1 Dawood to hide, but India has 1000 Dawood as Corrupt MLA's and MPs to rule.

    what mentioned by Dr.Subramanian Swamy is absolutely true..it's time now for our prime minister to step-down immediately if he thinks himself honest. Nothing will happen unless and until without knowing a approval from head of government.. shame on these people..who are involved with underworld people..it seems d-gang is working for UPA!!
