July 11: Dakshina Kannada reports 3 Covid cases, 1 infection in Udupi

Mangaluru/Udupi, Jul 11: Dakshina Kannada on Monday July 11, reported 3 new coronavirus cases while 1 case was registered in Udupi.

The total number of positive cases in the Dakshina Kannada district has risen to 1,35,966 out of which 68 are currently active. As many as 22 patients were discharged on July 11.

No deaths were reported on July 11. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,852.


The district administration has urged people to strictly continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authority.

Positivity rate for the day stood at 0.82 percent.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.

Udupi

1 coronavirus case was reported on July 11. The total active Covid cases are 19.

A total of 10,88,819 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,78,362 have received both doses and 1,11,195 people have received booster dose.
