Karnataka reports 891 fresh Covid cases, one death reported in a single day

Bengaluru, Jul 12: Karnataka on Tuesday July 12, reported 891 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stands at 6,419. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally at 832.

The state recorded 1189 discharges from hospitals on Tuesday, taking the total discharges to 39,34,041.

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,80,585 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 4.23%, as many as 11,28,80,151 people have received vaccination so far.
