Puttur: Truck falls into roadside drain; driver, cleaner injured

Puttur, Jul 14: A truck fell into a roadside drain and turned turtle after its driver lost control of the vehicle.

The accident occurred at Neerakatte of Bajathur village on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 13.

The truck was going towards Uppinangady from Hassan. As it was raining, the driver lost control of the vehicle and it fell into the roadside drain and turned upside down. As the drain was overflowing with water, half the truck was submerged in it.

Driver and cleaner of the truck escaped with minor injuries.
