Puttur: Saniha Bags ‘Young Scientist' Award

Puttur, Apr 2: The ‘Young Scientist Award – 2011’ instituted by the Science and Technology Department of Karnataka state government has been bestowed on Saniha Kuppetti of Puttur, said a press release.
Saniha is an SSLC student of Ramakrishna High School, here. The award has been conferred taking into consideration the awards received by the student in the last two years in competitions held by various state departments including public education, forest, health, and environment.
Saniha was selected for the award because of her achievement in bagging awards at the national Children’s Science Convention, NTSE Exams, Knowledge Exhibition, Children's Science Meet, ‘Prathibha Karanji’, Child Scientist Award, and other state and national level competitions from 2008 to 2010.
Saniha, who excels in Maths and Science, is the daughter of Rajendra and Sneha Kuppatti.
