Karnataka reports 1,691 fresh Covid cases, six deaths in last 24 hours

Bengaluru, Aug 11: Karnataka on Thursday, August 11, reported 1,691 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 10,054. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally is 1,225.

Six deaths were reported due to coronavirus in the state on Thursday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,134.

The state recorded 1982 discharges from hospitals on Thursday, taking the total discharges to 39,75,855.

So far, Karnataka has seen 40,26,085 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
