Kasargod: High school student killed after scooter loses balance, falls

Kasargod, Aug 12: A high school student was killed after the scooter he was riding lost balance and fell in Hosangadi here on Friday, August 12.

The deceased boy is Mohammed Ishan (15), son of Uppala Peringadi residents Ibrahim and Safiya.

He was studying in 10th standard at Government Higher Secondary School in Mangalpady.

The accident took place near the old check post in Hosangadi on Friday evening.

Ishan who was seriously injured in the accident was shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru. However, he succumbed.

The Manjeshwar police have registered a case.
