One cant blame driver.Passengers should be aware of the risk of any accidents or sudden brake on the way They cant be speaking on phone and not aware of the world around him.Sorry he was injured ,but it is a risk one have to take during travelling in bus.Buses dint have seat belts .so always be careful .wish him fast recovery.Where he was seating front or back seat?Front seat more dangerous.Fernandes Mangalore ,seat belts in bus ?Do you think it will be used by passengers?Drivers of cars do it only of Police is in nearer .Only in buses going far will be used (In touristic)Was actuelly driver was on phone ?Because he knows the ways and where pot holes are there. He should be knowing so no need of applying brake ?Truth should be brought out.

Bus Drivers in KarNataka are notorious for having no road sense; they are least bothered about the passengers safety; pot hole or unscientific speed breaker, they will not reduce the speed but just drive over it or apply sudden brakes, sometimes throwing the last seat passenger to hit the roof of the bus; if the passenger was a pregnant lady, she would have definitely have had a miscarriage!

Now, all passenger vehicles must have seat belts to avoid the injuries. I don't think pothole will be repaired in near future. Ruling party blames opposition May be before next election. Till that time God only save the passengers.

Roads built by third rate contractors by bribing corrupt officials will not last for long! Hope the passenger did not injure his spine, which would have long lasting repercussions!!
