Mangalore: Rahul Gandhi to Visit Udupi on April 20

Mangalore, Apr 18: State youth Congress president and MLA, Krishna Byre Gowda, informed that All India Congress Committee general secretary and MP, Rahul Gandhi, will be visiting Udupi on Wednesday April 20. He asked the youngsters to participate in a programme of interaction with Gandhi, being held on the occasion.
He was addressing a preliminary meeting organized at the Congress office here to discuss preparations for the said programme on Sunday April 17. He invited youth from every booth to actively participate in the programme, make the best use of the opportunity in their hands, and make a firm determination to build the party further.
Speaking on the occasion, Dakshina Kannada district Congress committee president and MLA, B Ramanath Rai, urged the youth from all the 16 blocks in the district to attend the programme without fail. He said that this will help build the political future of the country.
MLA, U T Khader, Congress leaders, Ivan D’Souza, Moidin Bawa, Bondala Jagannath Shetty, T K Sudheer, Abu Sharma, Prateek Patel, Navin D’Souza, Vinayaraj, Mithun Rai, and some others were present at the meeting.
Bondala Jagannath Shetty said that one member from every booth in Puttur constituency is entitled to interact with Rahul Gandhi. He therefore, asked those who have applied for admission into the Congress, to send their names to block Congress committee.
