Bengaluru, Sep 11: The poster of 'Rangitaranga' fame Radhika Chetan-starrer 'Asathoma Sadgamaya' was released recently in Bengaluru.
The new look of the debut movie of Mangalurean Rajesh Venoor was released by the cast. Kiran Raj who showed his acting skills in the movie 'March 22' is playing lead actor in this film. The cast includes Lasya Nagaraj, Deepak Shetty and Baby Chitrali.
Speaking about the movie, director Rajesh said, "This movie is based on IQ vs EQ (emotional quotient) concept. Earlier relationships and emotional quotient were given more priority. Today's generation is smart and parents too look for intelligence, good marks rather than special bond or valuable relationships. Today emotions and attachments have lost their importance which we have tried to revive in this movie. It is a family entertainer, with dash of comedy."
The movie is produced by Ashwin J Pereira, Moodbidri and co-produced by Melissa D'Souza. Radhika Chetan will be sporting an all new look in this movie.
Nelson and Vikram are executive producers of the movie.Wahab Salim has directed music whereas cinematography is by Kishore.
The team has completed 70 per cent of the shoot. This movie has five songs in it.
The unique and classy title 'Asathoma Sadgamaya' has been trending on social media, making viewers eager.
Director Rajesh Venoor, a graduate in Journalism has made several documentories and ad films. Having vast experience of working in television channels in post production, currently he owns 'Pace Media' a production company. 'Asathoma Sadgamaya' is a debut movie of Rajesh.
Producer Ashwin is a budding entrepreneur from Moodabidri. He is a JD(S) Mulky-Moodbidri convenor and was also the owner of I-Care builders. This is his first venture as movie producer.
Cinematographer Kishore has worked as DoP for several reality shows and documentaries.
Pradeep Barboza Paladka, hero and director of 'Ek Aslylar Ek Na' fame and Deepak Paladka, comedy actor in Konkani and Tulu film who is popular in Dubai and Mangaluru make their debut in Sandalwood in comic roles.
