Mangaluru: Prime Minister Modi likely to visit city on Dec 18

Mangaluru, Dec 17: There is a likelihood of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, visiting the city on Monday December 18.

Although the Prime Ministers does not have any official engagements here, he is scheduled to take part in an official programme being held at Lakshadweep on December 19. Sources therefore expect Modi to arrive here on the evening of Monday.

He may stay on December 18 night in the Circuit House and proceed to Lakshadwep the next morning from the airport here. On the other hand, Modi may also come here by a special fight on December 19 morning and then go to Lakshadweep by helicopter.

However, BJP Dakshina Kannada unit president, Sanjeev Matandoor, clarified that his party has not received any communique from the office of the Prime Minister regarding his official travel programme to the city.

    See how Siddu is milking caste. Most of his schemes are caste centric or religious centric. The programmes for the development of people in general are far & few. He really wants Hindus to be divided as it suits his game.

    The Congress played the caste card in Gujarath. It used three poweful caste leaders to campaign for them. Patels are relatively rich people in Gujarath. why Congress promised them reservation depite knowing that it is Constitutionally not possible to give reservation from the existing quota?.

    He will come to Karnataka now onwards for any silly events just for publicity. There is no other delegates in BJP other then Modi and Amith!
    Some people may think he doesn't need publicity. Now after realizing Gujarat election trend he is more worried and increase his publicity by giving more false promises.
    Like to spend tax payer money for political gain.
    After visiting 100s of country what is the advantage?
    Relation between China went more worst,
    Pakistan as usual cheating us even after eating biryani, gifting sari, hugging each other, holding hands like married couple......

    Welcome to the city Honourable PM of India, just a request from a humble tax payer of this country. Please give some advice to Nalini Kumar, he has not done any good development in his constituency, other than threatening to burn Dakshina Kannada. If he has one the second term it is only because of your image. People wanted you as the PM of this country. No one voted Nalini Kumar, instead voted Mr Narendra Modiji. Our highways are in pathetic condition, the MLA’s are doing a better job than the MP. Nalini Kumar has only gained weight personally and also gained weight monetarily. Please give it thought to replace him with other educated people in BJP like capt Karnik, or Capt Brijesh Chowta.
