Arrested accused

Melrick was arrested last year in connection to the murder attempt of Sandeep Shetty who was an aide of Bannanje Raja at Marnamikatte. He was released from jail just two days before his murder.

It is said that Nishank is old enemy of Melrick. Sandeep Shetty is the main conspirator and arranged Nishank and other four persons to kill Melrick.

    This entire case is strange and reeks of police involvement.

    - Why was Melrick given bail if he was a murder accused?

    - If Melrick's assailants had police cases against them in various police stations, how come they were not arrested?

    - Why was it easy to arrest them only after Melrick was killed?

    - How did the police know that it was these six people who killed Melrick?

    - How soon will it be that these six will also receive bail and freedom?

    My advice to youth is to study well and get out of Mangalore incase you cannot find a job there. If not, Engineering at least an ITI or Diploma course will fetch you good jobs in big cities, on ships or overseas.

    Get a life as joining gangs, Senas, Dals, Hitarakshna Vedikes, and Fronts will shorten your lifespan.

    Media doesn't say anything about how Melrick got bail? If at all he was is in jail his life would have been saved...

    People involved in crime should not get bail at least 5-6 years...

    @Amith Shetty,
    So it all depends on the name they carry ? You should apply same logic for all the groups. You should not be biased.
    All the crimes are common in any community. But, as soon as you see the names like mine, you are in s hurry to level "terrorism" "love jihad" "jihadi" ECT.,
