M'luru: Golden jubilee celebrations of St Joseph the Worker Church Neermarga commence

Mangaluru, Apr 22: As part of its golden jubilee celebrations, St Joseph the worker church, Neermarga has scheduled several programmes from April 21 to April 30. The programmes were set in motion on April 21 after Horekanike (offerings) to the church which were taken in procession.

Judicial vicar of Mangaluru diocese who arrived as chief guest to the programme, received the offerings, hoisted the flag and set the programmes in motion. The procession of offerings began at Valachil, after the prayers and then reached the church. Fr Anil D'Mello, parish priest, shouldered leadership responsibilities for the celebrations.



Vice president of parish pastoral council, Prakash Pereira, secretary Jerald Lobo, committee convener Arun D'Souza, publicity committee's Prasad Pereira Vas and media adviser, Fourwind's E Fernandes were present.
