Taking responsibility of my loved ones with honesty
Never dreamt to leave this world, my family
Was here for the celebration of my anniversary
But now I reside in the obituary.
Soon after the marriage left for honeymoon
Convincing my mom will be back soon
Didn’t get a chance to express love to my wife
Being a victim of the bullet said bye to my life.
Fate didn’t help in getting mom’s cozy hugs
In a hurry was wrapped in rug
Dad and mom were lying on the floor which was very bloody
Not ready to accept that nanny is ‘my everybody.’
Seeing the fire, I was scared to the core
Screaming, rushing made me tremble more
Could see my dad’s burned face
Who couldn’t win this horrible race.
Terrorists are heartless and never sorry
Are merry in the guns they carry
Kasab, Abu Ismael are not born criminals
Misguiding, brainwashing made them cannibals.
Nariman house, Taj in India are places some
Don’t be happy world, your turn yet to come
Misery, distress lost the death rate
Power, politics, money can’t change our ugly fate.
Dedicated to the victims of 26/11, 2009 terrorist attack in Mumbai.
