Captured on Lens: Myriad Colours of Life

Dec 3, 2010

Life in its many forms fills the world with colours of splendour. Each fleeting moment is a precious chapter that lives in mind’s eye for eternity. From the mesmerising beauty of flowers to the stupefying mysteries of the human heart, from the joys of the little friends of nature to the untold travails of human existence, Neil Pinto, a brilliantly gifted amateur photographer has captured it all in his lens.

That gentle touch...

Beauty admiring self

Hanging on

Nature’s little explorer

‘Downright’ dependency on ‘leftovers’

Cheers to life!

The promise of love....

Man’s reign over nature?

Yellow, yellow, lovely and mellow

I’ll be faithful....

No matter if you are black or white

The beauty within

To Bee or Not to Bee

Saathi haath batana....

Smile, though it be a dog’s life

Poetry of the heart

Withered by Time

Thus sinks the day in the cup of life

“Destroyed, but not defeated”

The eternal wait

In the lap of nature

    @WILLIAM,MANGALORE
well first and foremost I HAVE NO IDEA what so ever how to use PHOTOSHOP :)
whatever basic editing i do is only with the use of PICASA.
I'm sorry if i hurt you in any way as how you mentioned in your comment that a person should not be treated as a object for the caption.well its your point of view looking into matters.and you have the right to think so.
    anyways thanks for being honest.

Wow, simply breathtaking images. Equally so are the captions. You must have done a lot of work on this. I consider “Nature’s little explorer” as the best. Thanks for sharing with us.

I would advice you to work a bit MORE to achieve mastery in photography rather than pay LESS attention to your Engineering subjects. I guess one can strive to have more than one professional option in life. Just in case he loses interest / scope in one….. But thats just my feeling.

Whatever you do, all the best.

The photographs seemed to have been edited in photoshop. When you edit you distort reality . Photoshop may be used to enhance the over all quality of the photograph but not change the entire text. And particularly the caption withred by time does not suit the human being rather to an object. Human bieng cannot be object such as the lady in the picture. Ageing is natural process which cannot be avoided. at best the monuments can have that captions. Take this opinion in a positive sense.
