A man, who lived in the 19th century, comes back to the earth after three centuries, in 2200. He is shocked at the sight in front of him and cries:
Where are they? O nature!
Where are they?
Once I heard,
The song of little sparrows,
The sweet melody of Cuckoos,
The cry of black crows,
The humming of tiny insects,
All that I heard and enjoyed,
Where are they?
Once I enjoyed,
The beauty of perfumed flowers,
Shadow of big trees,
Sweet fruits of the plants,
Fresh vegetables of the earth,
Green paddy fields,
Where are they?
The fresh air,
The peaceful forest,
The fine seas and seashores,
The shining water that flowed in streams and rivers,
The cool of the earth and
All the artistic works of you, which
No human hand can do
Where are they?
O Nature! Mother Nature!
Have you forsaken the creatures which depended on you?
Where are they? Where are you?
O! My Poor Son! Why do you shout at me?
Why are you crying?
Why do you ask questions to me?
Go to your fellow humans,
Ask these questions!
Look at me!
Look at my ugly appearance!
The long green forests have become
Multinational industries!
The fresh green paddy fields have become
Massive apartments!
The shining rivers have been transformed
Into ditches!
The vast sea and seashores have become
Garbage dumps!
The pure air has been polluted by various chemical elements!
The pleasant atmosphere of the earth
Have been toured by several dangerous gases!
Now tell me who has forsaken whom?
It is they humans, who slaughtered
Themselves and me.
What can I do?
Whom can I question?
I have nothing for you except my tears!
O! My dear Mother Nature!
I have lost my paradise!
I have lost my peace!
I have lost everything!
You! O Mother Nature!
Can you do something to regain your beauty?
If no way possible,
Recreate yourself newly.
And make a world without humans,
Which can last for ever with all its beauty.
Can you?
