The Wicked Beauty...
A marvellous flower
The fabulous lover
Once dwelled in a plant
Blissed with enchant.
The flower and leaves
Had the perfect harmony
They swayed in the wind and
Happiness was there all around.
A beautiful fly
With colourful wings
Fluttered round the flower
Sipping out the sweet honey.
In the touch of the fly
The flower went high
I am lucky, thought the flower
To serve this angel flier.
The flower wooed the fly
with sweet scent and charming grace
They were the best friends
Vowed to be the inseperable ones.
The fly befriended the whole family
The leaves and the stem
And Oh! the buds and blooms
Awaited the charisma.
Then one rainy afternoon
She rested beneath the leaves
and gifted them with glittering tiny dots
As she flew away with the wind.
The leaves and the flower
Treasured those tiny dots
The gift fom the best buddy
It is the precious of all.
Little lives moved out from the dots
Countless number of worms
Some went to the stem
And others moved to the flower.
Ten thousands of legs crawling
Tiny mouths gnawing
The itchy hairs falling
All the leaves bawling.
After all the feeding and stinging
All that left behind was
Leaf skeletons and stumps
With a withered and dried out flower.
The flower looked around
Better gazed at the surround
Saw the enchanting fly
Fluttering back in the sky.
The cost of living
Had taken the living
With about to close eyes
The flower gazed at the sky
Wishing for the last glimpse of the fly.
