In olden days or may be two decades ago (during our childhood), we found only a few educated people and when we found those people we used to respect them a lot. Those people were considered as extraordinary people.
There are some of us who still believe that an individual is geared for success based on the education level. This may prove ineffective when one does possess a certain capacity to harvest to the level of quality education.
In these modern days we see everyone is educated. New schools/colleges are coming up like mushrooms and every young person is educated. Also as per my knowledge every second person we meet is either an Engineer/Masters/Bachelors. Getting educated does not seem to be a big or rare thing.
Talent, regardless of the field, always seems to bring faster fulfillment to the person; however, like academics it also requires hard work, sacrifice and will power.
Hence, at this point we need to clearly choose that it is not only education that is the better option but that having both education and talent opens windows of opportunities and perhaps leads to a more fulfilling life.
It is well known, that while not every person performs his or her talent on a public platform, everyone has a talent and this enables them to explore a balanced life.
For many in school, they are faced with the decision of going the academic route or pursuing a 'talent' based career. Hence, we take the time to understand the elements, which attract us most in either dominion. The best advice for anyone is to prepare yourself for almost anything your life may offer.
We should educate our children as not to neglect their studies or their talent, and enhance them as much and as sensibly as possible.
While running your own race in life, one must acknowledge that it may not always go as planned. Hence, do not create obstacles, which hamper realizing your goal(s) because of a careless decision.
On the contrary, carefully evaluate both education and talent and ensure that you set for yourself mileposts that will help and guide you to maximize your potential in both. This stands the test of time, as you may never know which of the two may be your livelihood.
To conclude, Alexander Graham Bell's quote, 'before anything else, planning is the key to success', highlights the importance of education as well as sharpening talents in the aim for a supportable future.

Fri, Oct 05 2012Thanks dear Prabhu.
Almighty God can grant talents either at birth or during life. As He is converting and shaping a sperm into a nice human body and gives life to it, he is capable to do anything, at any time (joyous/sorrowful, sweet/bitter). He only decides parents, time and place for each and every one, for everything. This is the truth which I am aware of. I have no argument about His strength and wish.
But my argument is being Telecommunication and Transportation is a prime (twin) sector of the economy, how we can be silent about their imbalanced progress? While the telecommunication has been revolutionized to give enormous benefits, the land transportation is struggling with ages old evolution, by consuming expensive fuel, eating major portion of our exchequer, (by import of oil products) releasing health hazardous air pollution and peace disturbing sound pollution.
Why can’t we think of a revolutionary change in the land transportation, with our advanced technology and strong force of professionals? Why we are pulling our vehicles from a standstill position till the end of journey or tour? Why can’t we take advantage of free and abundant gravity power of earth to a certain extent? Thanks and regards

IF TALENT IS A GIFT FROM GOD DON'T YOU THINK HE IS BIASED. .....
AND, GOD CANNOT BE BIASED SO......
YOU CAN SAY IT IS AN INBORN QUALITY NOT A GIFT.
IF SO IF A CHILD IS DULL IS IT A CURSE ?

Thu, Oct 04 2012Yes. Till a couple of decades ago, education was by “see and understand, do and learn”.
Today, due to Information Technology, it is through “search, copy, cut, alter and paste”
Talent is a free gift of God, a natural asset for personal as well as for public welfare.
Education is an acquired asset by individual initiative and effort and with others support.
The right balance of education and talent leads to good progress and healthy development.
The need of the moment is to minimize the use of scarce, expensive and exhausting items and to utilize the available, abundant supply, to balance the demand and supply.
For instance, we can save billions of dollars, if we reduce our dependence on expensive, imported fuel, by utilizing the free and abundantly available (24/7) gravity power of earth.
And with this we can achieve a tremendous progress, by a revolutionary change in our land transport sector, which can offer unbelievable and incredible benefits.
