Here is a narration from imagination, how any message passed through different people is edited and the main message fails to reach the end reader:
First – The Real Story
Vikram, a successful businessman asks his secretary to pass the below information to all the staff through respective Business Heads:
I am a very happy man. Business is very good and we have performed very well. My team is extraordinary, though a few of them need to produce more. I need to advise you all that my son is getting married next Thursday and as per astrologer, Muhurtha is fixed at 1215 hours, which will be held at Sri Krishna Temple Hall and Puroheeth will be Shree Swami Shankara of the Matta next door. Lunch will be served thereafter. Since my son is getting married to a Christian girl, and you all know I am a person who respects all religions, we will a have a nuptial ceremony at St Josephs Church the same evening at 1730 hours which would be blessed by Bishop of Tango Rt Rev Santana. This event will be followed by an evening that you should not miss. There will be lot of entertainment, food, dance and drinks. Come everybody and enjoy. Join me in this fun and happiness. You all know that I am a widower and you are my family and therefore, your presence is blessing to the newly wedded couple.
Secretary to Department Heads
Our boss is happy now. He feels team is very good and performing and hence it's the right time for his son to produce. Therefore he is getting his son married. You must all come next Thursday at 1215 hours at Sir Krishna Hall, where you will see Priest Sri Swami Shankara conducting wedding ceremony of our boss' son. But the problem is the wife to be is Christian. So our boss, you know how big he is, has asked Mr. Santana, Bishop of Tango to come to St Josephs the same evening and he will bless them in Christian way and you can all see, the same couple marrying for the second time. All of you must come because there will be lot of drinks, food, dance and entertainment. Presents are not necessary. After drinks, if you can bless you are most welcome.
Department head to Supervisor
This big man of ours has no work to do. To show his happiness, he has asked his son to get married. Can you believe he has kept the marriage ceremony on a work day, next Thursday noon at Sri Krishna Temple. Sri Swamiji will conduct the wedding ceremony. They will serve lunch. But beware, do not eat too much. Because Bishop of Tango, Santanaji is coming in the evening at around 6 pm to bless the couple for the second time. Thereafter you will get a chance to eat as much as you want and also dance and drink. This is our chance to get the best from our miser. In return giving blessing or presents is your choice.
Supervisor to his Assistant
Our old man is becoming crazy. To show how happy and rich he is, he will have his son married two times on the same day. First at some Temple in the afternoon and second at some Church in the evening. In the evening Puruheet and some Bishop Santa will meet in nearby hall where couple is expected to dance, drink and dine. We too can join them and give blessings or presents. If the old man does not see we will also eat, drink and dance.
Assistant to Tea Boy
Our stupid Old Crazy good for nothing greedy is crazier than we thought. He is getting married his son in the temple in the afternoon and then he is getting married with one Christian girl in the evening. Since he wants to save expenses there will be a party in the night where Bishop of Tango is expected to Tango and we all must join. If we bring presents for both son and old man, they will also serve food and drinks. When the old man gets drunk all of us can drink and dance too.
Next Day's News Report
Mr Vikram, Noted business man died of Heart attack late last night. It was a day when he celebrated his son's wedding both in Hindu and Christian style. But he got the shock of his life when guests came and congratulated and gave presents as if it was his wedding. Not having the courage to see his son or his son's newly wedded wife, he breathed his last at St Josephs Church Hall. Funeral details are awaited.
