Oh Mom...

Oh! Mom...

Follow any rule or norm

Be down or true to form

The sole reason your being here

Is only your Lovely Mom!

Dizzy heights you may reach

Great things you may preach

Glittering laurels on to you may latch

Remember however she fed you from scratch.

No matter the places you travel

At wonders of nature you may revel

The ultimate space of comfort to swivel

Is your Mom's Lap... A real marvel !

Cradle to Tomb-Journey no song

For peace outside you may long

It's only in a Mom's Womb

You find it with much Aplomb.

My Mother's Womb

How dim was the light in your womb

There were heavenly surroundings about

I was alone- You were my whole world

The only one protecting me from fearful doubt

How delicate were your heart beats

My entire being depended on your response

A tender chord entwined us

Your compassion my only recourse

Your voice brought a smile to my lips

My ears used to yearn to listen to your small tips

The sufferings you underwent only for my sake

The troubles further only to keep me awake

The pains you bore during my birth

That I be healthy your only thought

Those Womb Days will never return now

Life without you cannot be imagined anyhow.....

Such a beautiful poem, Dear Mr. Bhandarkar. You transported us back to the safest place - the Amniotic Sac –where we heard the most beautiful sound – Mothers Heartbeat. Reminds us that even after the Umbilical cord is severed, there is a special bond between Mother and Child.

No wonder it is said that Motherhood is like watching your heart beat outside of your body.

DEAR LOVING BANDARKAR, YOU ARE HURTING ME BY YOUR FEELINGS EXPRESSIONS. THOSE DAYS WHEN YOU & ME WERE IN MOTHERS WOMB WITHOUT ANY SELFISH MOTIVATION, & THEY WERE NOT EVEN THINKING THAT I AM PROVIDING A SERVICE. NOW THE MOTHERS THINK & CALCULATE THE FIGURE OF CRORES HOW I CAN GRAB HUSBAND PROPERTY OR BANK BALANCE. HONESTLY I MISS MY CHILD HOOD DAYS WITH SPENT UNDER GUARDIAN SHIP OF MOTHER. BUT NOW...? MOTHER IS A CURSE FOR THE WORLD. THATS WHY WE FACE ALL UN-HANDLING SITUATIONS. ...! HOPE TO SEE OLD ....GOLD...GOOD DAYS AGAIN BACK. BUT HOW....? CAN YOU EXPLAIN & IMPLEMENT....? HAVAA SE BAATH KARNE SE KUCH NAHIN HOTHA...BE PRACTICAL. IT HURTS. I WAS MAY BE 9 YEARS...WE USED TO GET UP 4.30 OR 5.00 AM FOR MAKING JAGUARRY(BELLA, GOOOD IN HINDI) FROM SUGAR CANE. WHAT A TIME...WHAT A LIFE....WHAT A FEELINGS. JUST WAS LOVE & LOVE WITHIN PEOPLE. ARRYE YAAR KAHAAN FUSS GAYYAA MAIN...??? I WANT TO GO BACK TO MY OLDEN DAYS ... GOLDEN DAYS WITH MY MOTHER & FATHER. FOR ME FATHER IS MY PRIORITY..NOT MOTHER...I DONT HAVE ANY BODY TODAY...JUST LIVING ALONE AS YOU LIVE....BUT I MISS MY LIFE WITHOUT MY DAD & MOM. IN MY BOOK MOTHER COME NEXT THAN FATHER. YOU CALL ME HYPOCRYST OR POLITICIAN BUT FATHER IS THE ONE WHO MAKE HOME.... BEAUTIFUL HOME....!!! THATS THE TRUTH....!!! LOVE YOU ALL.

Thank you all for taking out time to read my poems. I shall indeed convey all of your best wishes to my Mom!
She hasn't read it yet. Now, she dotes on her grandson. And if I show your praises to her, I am sure ,she will tell her grand son that it is because she used to take me to task
when as a child that I studied properly! Does not lay a hand on her grand son though in case he does not study! Glares, has a few things to say too , if I scold him! Oh! For a transition from a mother to a grandmother!
Other things like taking care, inquiring about food take and all remains the same even at 83.
Thank you all once again. It is indeed a blessing to have a 'Mom'.
Sundari Madam, please call 9945912487..I will take you to my Mom.....

    Dear Bhandarkar Sir,

Beautiful Mother's Day perfect Poem you have shared with us reminding us that Mother’s Day is more than just buying flowers and a card and assuming that we have fulfilled our obligation for the rest of the year. Yes, it is a time to remind us that we have been neglecting our duties as sons and daughters. This divine relationship is sacred let us honor our mothers.
