When was the last time you complained about something in your life? A minute ago? Hour ago? Year ago, or ages ago. The answer will be hypothetical. We humans always have something to complain about in our life, someone may complain for every minute or every day. It is human nature as not to be satisfied with anything we attain.
Complaining can be about something or someone. A child might complain about having an old bag or old clothes, a teen might complain of owning an old brand of mobile or a grown up might complain of not possessing any luxury like the neighbour. The lists go on and on. When will we stop complaining? I think the answer is never.
Some people complain and whine about everything in life, never happy, never satisfied. When you try to achieve something in life or maybe you want to buy something, the pathway may be difficult or easy, after you achieve or buy that obsession you will be rejoicing. But this joy does not last long, it will last till your thirst for another lust. You will start complaining that you are not happy, you yearn for more.
At times it is also not wrong to complain about few things in life. For example, if someone has been trying and working hard to get a good job for a long time and is not able to find a suitable one, he/she may complain about it. But then trying to find out the positive outcome from it would be more fruitful, like thinking that in future time some better opportunities will come up. When we complain, we are forgetting the good things in our life. When we complain, we ought to remember the good things that happened to us and how blessed we are. This is just an example, someone who complains of not having a big house, how about and those who do not have any shelter? Someone who complains I do not have a good salary to run my family, how about those who are still struggling to get a decent job? Someone who
complains about food, how about those who eat what is leftover? This list is never ending. Next time we complain about any trivial issues it is wise to remember how blessed each of us is in a unique way. One may not have a life like the other one, but everyone is blessed in different way. Live your life without complaining too much and be thankful for all the good things and good people in your life. You cannot change few things in life but outweigh them with the good things and happiness. When we do not stop complaining we are indirectly turning ourselves to be more and more selfish. This can destroy one’s happiness and peace of mind.
When we start looking out the good things and positive vibes in our life, there is less room for complaining and comparison. At least now in this difficult situation of COVID 19 we need to have less room for complaints. If we are alive and healthy in this current situation then we are blessed than all the above good things in the world. Things, materials do not bring us everlasting happiness, good health and relationships will bring us true happiness.
STAY POSITIVE IN LIFE, STOP COMPLAINING AND BE THANKFUL TO ALL THE GOOD THINGS IN LIFE.
LIFE IS SHORT, ENJOY TO THE CORE.

Sun, Jul 26 2020I agree with Rita endorsing Jyothsna’s excellent exposition of being happy with what God has endowed us with. I recall reading, many decades ago, and attributed to Indira Gandhi, an incidence. A lady, getting ready to attend a society dance party, was complaining about the poor state of her shoes. As she was getting into her car to attend the function, she spied a person without legs.

Sun, Jul 26 2020Good read dear Jyothsna D’souza,
As highlighted Life is short - Stop complaining, be thankful to God for what we have.
One also needs to be compassionate and care for the less fortunate, share what we can, spread love and positivity and not hatred.
Cheers, Keep writing.

Sun, Jul 26 2020Good thoughts dear ,I think all people are having this bad habit of complaining .some more some less by birth.Only we have to realize what we have instead of not have. Many times by this bad habit we may get in conflict with others when too much is.Thatswhy let us try to thank God for given two hands ,legs or whatever we have.Thank you for this thoughts.
