Dawn
The azure sky welcoming the sun with warm embrace;
The dawn breaking up in soft colours of red and grey,
Waking up the daffodil that lay still in the sleepy morn,
The ever melodious birds' song cheering all along.
The path stewn with carpet of leaves and flowers;
Beckoning the sleepy dawn with a colourful cover.
The dark night pierced by the glorious golden delight,
Dazzling the dew sprinkled leaves with glitter bright.
Tall and sturdy trees, branching higher and higher,
To catch a glimpse of the warm ball of fire.
Swaying in the breeze with profound desire
To welcome the light with pride and fervor.
The birds leave their cosy nests on tall trees,
To spread their strong, small feathery wings,
And soar high up in the sky at first light breaking
To kiss the lovely dawn a very good morning.
The tiny butterflies with little yellow wings,
Flutter lightly with joy when the light creeps in.
Tapping at the colourful flowers small and big,
Annoucing the arrival of the big morning shine.
