Parents are the Real Heroes

July 6, 2024

Parents are the best gift that we receive even before birth & continues to be the best gift after birth too. Once after the birth of the child, their world will revolve just around the child. They keep their dreams aside & dream to build a better future for us. They shower endless love and care. They won't expect anything from us other than our happiness. Can there be anyone other than parents who can be this selfless? No wonder why they say that parents are equal to the almighty.

The mother holds the baby in her body for 9 months, she goes through all the pain and delivers the baby. As soon as she hears the voice of her baby, she starts smiling in spite of the pain. She feeds the baby no matter what she is going through. She is always there for us and takes care of us from our childhood till adulthood & the best part is there is no end for a mother's love and care. A mother's mind always thinks about her child's well-being. Without us telling anything, a mother can understand what's running in our mind and she addresses it. She keeps motivating us and teaches us how to take steps in life. She is an epitome of patience, love, care and an angel in our lives.

The Father guards us right from the beginning. He makes sure that we stay safe and we get all the comforts in our life. He works hard to build a better future for us. In spite of his busy schedule he spends time with the baby. He plays with the kid as a kid. He then becomes our best friend with whom we can share anything & everything. He plans vacations, takes us on trips, gives whatever is needed even before we ask. He may not express his affection much, but father's love cannot be measured. He protects, guides, encourages, teaches how to deal with life and what not. He is our hero forever and an inspiration.

We are lucky to have parents who are loving, caring, understanding, compassionate, kind and generous. The sacrifices they make for us are unimaginable. Also, there are a few who would have lost their parents at a young age, grown up in orphanages or relatives houses, kids having single parents.

What parents do for the good of us is incomparable. They are the real heroes of our life. To make them proud & to live up to their dreams & expectations about us, to take best care of them during their old-age and to keep them happy through our success is the best gift that we can give to them. Let's keep them happy always.

Why they say that parents are equal to the almighty. In many cultures and traditions around the world, there is a profound reverence for parents, often placing them on a pedestal equal to the almighty. This comparison, steeped in both religious and societal values, stems from the pivotal role parents play in our lives. But why exactly are parents held in such high regard, and what is the essence behind this age-old saying? 1. The Givers of Life= The most fundamental reason is that parents are the givers of life. Just as many believe the Almighty is the creator of the universe and life itself, parents are the creators of our existence. 2. Unconditional Love and Sacrifice = arents embody unconditional love and sacrifice, qualities often attributed to divine beings. 3. Moral and Ethical Guidance= In many ways, parents serve as the first moral and ethical guides in a child's life. 4. Providers and Protectors= Parents are the ultimate providers and protectors. 5. Forgiveness and Patience= Parental forgiveness and patience are legendary. 6. The Symbolism in Cultural and Religious Contexts= Across different cultures and religions, there are numerous references to the exalted status of parents. For instance, in Hinduism, the saying "Mata, Pita, Guru, Daivam" (Mother, Father, Teacher, God) places parents just below God in the hierarchy of reverence. In Christianity, the Bible emphasizes honoring one's father and mother as a commandment. These cultural and religious affirmations underscore the deep-rooted belief in the sanctity of parenthood. The saying that parents are equal to the Almighty is not merely a cultural adage but a reflection of the profound impact they have on our lives.
