“Health is the result of investing in good nutrition”
Imagine you have everything—lots of money, good work, many friends, all the help you need, the latest phone, you're super famous, and have loving and caring parents/spouse. But if you don’t have good health, then nothing else matters.
These days, common diseases include diabetes, blood pressure issues, obesity, heart disease, being overweight, hypertension, cancer, etc., and much more.
The 21st century has seen an explosion in modern diseases. By 2030, half of humanity is predicted to be obese. Through diabetes, sugar kills more than a war.

“It’s never too late to start living well”
But do you know we can live a beautiful, healthy life without all these diseases? It’s not by taking medicines, rather it’s just by changing our food habits.
If I were to ask anyone who likes medicines, the answer would definitely be “none.” Nobody likes taking medicines. Our food should be our medicine before it’s too late and we are forced to spend our lives on medication. Medicines only manage diseases and do not cure many harmful conditions.
“Healing is a dance between pain and acceptance”
Being healthy is very simple—just follow these 3 ‘F’s which I am going to share now:
1) 1st F is FAT – Remove it.
a) The main source of FAT is oil. Oil is pure fat and has no fibre.
b) Processed foods also contain fat. Toxins from preservatives, pesticides, microwaves, plastics, air, and more are stored in fatty tissues and prevent fat from leaving the body.
c) Meat is pure fat, high protein, and no fibre. It contains fat, toxins, cholesterol, hormones from other animals, and adrenaline.
d) Milk is pure fat, high protein, and no fibre. Milk and milk products like butter, cheese, curd, and ghee contain cholesterol, plastic, adrenaline, urea, calcium loss, pus, and bacteria. Did you know 97% of dairy calves are forcibly removed from their mothers within the first 24 hours?
2) 2nd F is FIBRE – Add it.
Fibre acts like a broom. It is highly available in fruits and vegetables with skin, green smoothies, grains (whole wheat, whole rolled oats, etc.), millets (ragi, jowar, bajra, foxtail, etc.), brown/red/black rice, beans, legumes, and nuts.
3) 3rd F is FITNESS – Do it.
a) Physical fitness is very important. If you have time for Facebook, WhatsApp, and food, then you definitely have time for fitness. We don’t need to do too much. Simple exercises like walking, jogging, or cycling are enough to keep us healthy.
b) Mental fitness – Your mind is the most powerful medicine. Listen to good music like hymns or songs, and spend some time in nature.
“Your immune system is like a superhero that gets stronger with every healthy choice you make.”
By just following these 3 ‘F’s, we can definitely live a healthy life without medicines. Diseases like diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, and cardiac arrest can be cured permanently. Eating a variety of non-processed, mostly plant-based foods and enjoying them in healthy amounts has huge benefits for our health and lifestyle. Eat foods that mostly come from plants and not from animal sources.
“Every time you eat is an opportunity to nourish your body.”
If you observe carefully how nature and God have designed things—just imagine you are in a garden full of fruits hanging on trees and vines. At the same time, you see chickens, hens, and goats nearby. You are naturally attracted to fruits rather than feeling the urge to grab a chicken or goat to eat. It's animal nature to eat other animals, not human nature. Similarly, our teeth are designed differently—unlike carnivores who have sharp canine teeth for hunting, humans are designed for plant-based diets.
“Green foods vibrate with the frequency of nature and cultivate healing.”
Regarding milk—except for humans, no other animal consumes the milk of another species. Calves drink cow's milk, kittens drink cat milk, and puppies drink dog milk.
Let’s assume when a cow gives milk to her baby and we forcefully take it away, it creates tension and fear in the cow, which leads to the production of adrenaline that enters the milk.
Those who consume only plant-based food are called vegans. We have multiple vegan options just like non-vegetarian ones—so there’s no need to worry. We have vegan Indian desserts, vegan cakes, cookies, and ice creams.
Plant milks can be made from grains, almonds, barley, fonio, maize, millet, oat, rice, rye, sorghum, teff, triticale, spelt, wheat, etc.
However, due to our cultured and habitual lives, it’s quite difficult to suddenly give up milk products, meat, etc. The only thing we can do is reduce consumption. It is recommended to have meat only once a week, like on Sundays, and prefer vegetables on other days.
Avoid cow's milk in tea or direct consumption, and instead slowly start using plant-based milk like almond or soy milk.
It is also highly recommended to cook without oil—and it has been proven that the taste remains the same.
To ensure good health: eat lightly, breathe deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life.
To know more about all the vegan recipes, you can visit the website www.sharan-india.org, which inspired me to write this article after attending one of their sessions—‘Journey Towards Freedom from Diseases’—which truly inspired us. Currently, we have reduced our consumption of meat and oil, dedicated ourselves to having meat only once a week, and stopped eating restaurant food.
“Fall in love with taking care of yourself.”
So, let’s follow the foods that nature designed for us, live a life without medicines, and let our food be our medicine. May the Lord bless us all.
