Mumbai: Udupi native Adi Ravi Poojary wins two gold medals in athletics

Mumbai, Jan 13: Udupi Kallianpur based Adi Ravi Poojary, resident of Sakinaka, student of Pawar Public school, Chandivali, has bagged two gold medals in the inter school athletic 2022-23 held by Mumbai school sports association.

15-year-old Adi Ravi Poojary who represented Pawar Public school held the sports gun, ran and reached the goal in 11.45 seconds in the competitions held on Mumbai University sports ground, Marine lines on Monday, January 9.

Students of Cathedral and John Canon school were declared the fastest boy and girl respectively in the competitions held for below 16-year-olds in the MSSA 128th annual inter school athletic championship 2022-23.

Adi Poojary is the son of Kantu Poojary house residents, member of Brahma Baidarkala Pancha Dhoomavati Garodi Seva trust, Mumbai, Ravi Poojary and Sandhya R Poojary Innanje. He is the nephew of Garodi Seva trust honorary chief secretary Sanjiva Poojary Thonse.
